Dinner for One is a series of objects designed for people who eat alone. Created as part of an interdisciplinary project, the porcelain set addresses the transformation of urban eating habits: the dining table as a social ritual is losing significance – eating is becoming more rationalized, often taking place on the side and without a fixed location. Dinner for One responds to this shift with a functional, ergonomic design tailored to eating away from the traditional dining table.
